One of Canada's eastern maritime provinces, New Brunswick is rich with history, lakes, rivers, forests and winding roads where tourists can pursue recreational activities including fishing, hiking, boating, golfing, camping and sight-seeing. The parks provide protection to many species' habitats, including the Maritime Acadian Highlands Natural Region at Fundy and the Appalachian Geographical region at Kouchibouguac.

Kouchi- bouguac National Park


Kouchibouguac National Park was set aside in 1969 as part of our national park system to preserve a representative sample of the Appalachian Geographical region, an example of outstanding Canadian landscape and one of the last vestiges of a maritime lowland system.
